TENDULKAR'S SON ARJUN TENDULKER

Arjun Tendular is taking part in his first nationwide cricket tournament. He is representing the MIG Cricket Club at the U-13 Cadence Trophy competition held in Pune. The competition features clubs from all over the country.

Arjun played his first match on Wednesday when he played against Vengsakar Academy where he got out without opening his account.

His second match was against the Cadence Cricket Academy. MIG cricket club fielded first, with Arjun Tendulkar fielding at the deep square leg position.

The ten year old Jr Tendulkar opened the batting for MIG club at the non-striker s end. He faced his first ball in the second over which he completely missed. He scored his first runs on a very fine stoke played with the use of the bottom hand.

However he soon got run out because of a miscommunication with his partner. MIG cricket club finally lost the 30-over match.
Arjun’s mother, Anjali Tendulkar, was there to watch her son play while Sachin scored his 44th hundred in Bangladesh.

On July 2011 Arjun Tendulker practiced at the Lord's cricket ground along with Indian cricketers ahead of the first of four Tests between India and England.
The 12-year-old was confident as he bowled to middle-order batsman Suresh Raina during a net-practice session in the presence of his father.
